Well, as you can see what my main interest and hobby is trains, the real thing and models. I model in HO gauge and I model the Canadian National, Canadian Pacific and several New England railroads (MEC,B&M). I have a small operating layout in my garage here in south Florida. The layout is 85% scenicked, we are now in the detailing phase. My rolling stock consists of over two hundred freight cars and passenger cars (and still growing) dated for the 1950's. I have over 40 locomotives, mostly diesel and several pieces of brass traction. I have a substantial collection of photographs taken by myself and downloaded from the Web. I will try and update the photos as often as possible.

I am a member of the National Model Railroad Association and the American Philatelic Society. I have been a member of both for over 20 years. I also belong to a round robin group originally composed of seven modelers known as the "lousy seven." The membership of the group is close to double now. We meet every Thursday night at a members house and either work on the layout, operate, watch a video or two or just shoot the bull and have a great cup of coffee. The most important aspect of the group is the camaraderie that has developed among us.

I am happy I have hobbies and I think hobbies are very important to a person's health. They are a way to channel stress and excess energy to bring certain dreams to fruition. I hope you will enjoy this website. Have a great day!!
